2 weeks in...

Hello everyone :-)

We have just reached the 2 week mark in this 5 week outreach. It is going great & we are glad that we are out here! We are working primarily with the Karen people (most of whom are from Burma). We get to come in contact with people that have experienced alot of hardship! But God is VERY MUCH alive in these peoples lives! There are strong Christians from their own people that are getting ready and going to tell about Jesus!

We have been doing a lot of dramas, teaching, preaching, as well as awesome activities and games and classes with heaps of students :-) We have to always be prepared out here... you never quiet know what you will be asked to do until 30 seconds before you're meant to do it!!! They keep us on our toes... Ohhh yeah!

Tomorrow we will go to another location, where we will be for the rest of the time. Please keep us in your prayers! Especially for our health as some of our team are sick and Shane has been sick for over 2 weeks now... but is feeling better everyday! THANKS GOD :-)

Keep your eye on this space... as stuff may randomly appear during our travels :-)

God bless you all!

More birthday photos

We went and had ice cream for brekky & lunch at swensens and then dinner at pizza company. As you can see from the photos Shane ordered himself the earthquake - 8 scoops of ice cream! And he punished it all by himself. He also got an external harddrive from me, although i never would have thought of giving it to him unless he told me about it! Hehe:-) he personally picked it out too.

Happy Birthday Hubby!!

Shane turned 23 on the 1st of June! Oh what a glorious day! Especially with all the candy that he got from both AUS & Norway;)
